ABC Wednesday - D!

How are your ABC's? ABC Wednesday is hosted each week by Mrs. Denise Nesbitt and is always fun! Click on the icon and sign up to show us what you know about the alphabet!

The letter for the day is D! And surprise, surprise! Around here D is primarily for Dogs! Meet Mojo the Most!

And now, Sam Schnauzer

D is for Daughter!

A Dancing Daughter at that!

And D is for David the Drummer! That's his night job -- during the day time he works at the University of North Texas.

I know, I know, you've seen them before, but what can I say??? They fit the day and I do love my kids!!

Life is never
Black and White;
The man
in the
black and white outfit,
so blinded
by
life's bursting colors
amidst
the crash and boom
rumbles away
on his drums;
a background score
to a
graceful lady
smiling
as she tangoes
away,
facing up,
stretching a thought here,
kicking a trouble there,

And someone
in Seattle,
clicks,
pours a coffee,
sits back,
smiles, and says,
D for "Dear"....

Aren't they ?

No need to apologize - the dogs, drummer and daughter are all appropriate!

On behalf of the ABC Wednesday team, thank you!

Beautiful kid photos. I love Sam the dog. I think the more I see these kinds of dogs, the more I want one. Glad you could join in on ABC Wed.

Lively pictures today. It's been a long time since I've sat behind drums and tried to play.

I do believe Sam the man has trimmed up. Nice to see David. I'd not seen that picture. It's okay to love your kids.

Wish you a great evening!

Ooh, lovely post. Your daughter is beautiful. Is she a professional dancer? Obviously there's music in your blood - you need a good sense of rhythm to play drums. Never done that, but one day I'll try! Enjoy the rest of your week.

You can show your kids all you want. You have every right to be proud of them. The dogs aren't bad either.

So David is the one who lives in Texas. Nice name, David -- it's my husband's name, too.

Darling dogs! Dapper David the drummer... but, your daughter?? Well, as much as I'd like to stick with "D"... VaVaVoom seems to describe her best! But, I will use Delicate beauty.

Good post. I read lots and lots of your posts. Great stuff. I really need to get myself oranized better so I can drop in more often.

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
