The eagle was captured by a friend of my daughter, Kerith, which she shared with me. The Edelweiss was taken by another friend, but the evening shot was mine. I just thought they made good E words for the day. I should have stated that in the beginning, but I got a little distracted yesterday and at my age that takes a toll on the brain. Thanks for all the kind comments.

I floated down a 17 mile stretch of the Nooksack river the other day and was excited to find over 8 bald eagle nests. Very fun indeed.
Excellent E's. The Evening photo is spectacular. Great capture of the Eagle - he looks so ferocious. Edelweiss appears dream-like.

Very nice findings ! but where did you see Edelweiss ? They are so rare and only grow in high mountains, at least here !
Yep, those are three 'E's - and pretty good ones, too! I like the sunset, I'm always amazed at how many people get great shots of eagles, and the edelweiss .. it's such a strange plant, isn't it? My Mum had one, once.
Beautiful sunset with the trees etched against it. The eagle is stunning but what cruel eyes and beak.
I shall be singing the song for the flower all day now . . . ;-)

Beautiful evening sunset, I feel peaceful just looking at it. Eagles I can never look at without thinking of the Sam the grumpy eagle in Sesame Street, it would be great if they did say something,LOL. Amazing birds, you are so lucky to have so many in your country, and to be able to take great photos.
