ABC Wednesday - O!

Get out your dictionary! It's time for ABC Wednesday which is hosted each week by Mrs. Denise Nesbitt and the ABC team -- Denise, Roger, Jay, Troy, Barb, Gattina and me!!

O is for Oops! It's October!

And O is for Otters who swim in the Ocean -- when they're not in the zoo!

The Otters' tribute

Spring sunshine
glistening
like stars,
as it blends
with the
ebullient sprays
from blue waves,
shining
on the strips
of grass,
greening
in satisfaction.

The older one
hears,
from far away,
the strains
of something ,
with
Stars and Stripes....

A leap
on to the bank,
hands
across the heart
he stands
at attention;
The partner,
notices,
learns,
and emulates
the elder;

An otters
tribute,
to a
wonderful
homeland,
that makes living,
so much fun
for them.....

O is for Oh such lovely Oleanders!

And they are in a glass of milk -- at least that's what it said about the picture -- I found it on Google, my place to go if I don't have the picture that I want. Why it is in milk, I haven't the faintest idea!

Mmmmmm O is for Olives and Omelets!

Hungry yet???

Liked the October Pictures. the First one was stunning. Yes, the Omelet made me hungry.

I thought that Otters only swim in Fresh Water. You learn something new everyday.

Wil, they are in a glass of milk -- at least that's what it said about the picture -- I found it on Google, my place to go if I don't have the picture that I want. Any of the ones by me will have my name/blog on them. Every once in a while I have to go hunting, not a lot of Os in my photo stash! Thanks for your visit! Always appreciated!!

Is the first photo of that beautiful red tree the same is in your current header? Absolutely beautiful!

And why are the oleanders in a glass of milk?

OO, awesome! I'm torn between tripping (long distance) to the ocean and eating olives and omelets. I'm not, though, craving October. :)

A great assortment of O's. I do love otters! I went quickly past the olives. Don't like them at all.

I wasn't hungry until I came here and to Leslie's page! What a fun and delicious post! Although, I am perplexed as to why the Oleanders are in a glass of what looks to be milk (did I miss something?).

Outstanding O and October tree, its almost like a hat. I've heard of lemonade for roses but never milk for Oleanders, or does it just look pretty for a picture.

Great photos. I haven't had an omelette in ages. I think I'll have to remedy that.

Oleanders in milk. Hmm. Seems someone wants to do a little poisoning. Haha!
