Shadow Shot Sunday!

Hey, shadow sleuths, it's that time again! We'll all be gathering over at Tracy's blog, Hey Harriet to see what we've all come up with in the way of shadows for the week! Click on the icon, sign up and show your stuff. I promise not to tell anyone that you've become a shadow addict like the rest of us!!

There has been another serious shortage of sunlight this week, but this Wednesday afternoon it suddenly put in an appearance and I was able to get a few.

Our neighbor across the alley had a very interesting shadow of their fence.

A Sam really, really in need of a haircut! Coming up next Thursday! Yea!

How did this watering can get soooooo big???

Soft colors!

Flowering trees enjoying sun!

Very cool shadows! I love the pooch on the porch! And, what appears to be a watering can shadow across the table. Very fun! Enjoy your Saturday up there in Washington, Sylvia!

Your alert eyes have once again captured and interesting collection of shadows.

You certainly made the most of the sun that came your way. The fence shadow is wonderful and I was so pleased to see Sam Schnauzer - I was beginning to get a bit worried about him. The giant watering can is a hoot - what fun!

Great shadows - Sam looks as though he is posing for you and I love the soft colours. A x

They're all beautiful but I particularly love Sam's big wooley shadow!

Sylvia, Sam sure casts a cute, plump Shadow Shot while in need of a haircut! His after Shadow will be so much smaller. (Got my pooches hairs cut last week and they look so different.) Happy SSS to you!

The fence leaves a lovely shadow. We have no doubt what the subject is, but the softness of the lighting makes this a fence like no other. If you shear Sam, his shadow wont be as impressive!

You managed to capture a bunch of lovely shadows. Favourites are Sam who needs a haircut and the flowering trees!

Won't let you know yet what that thing is of whicht I captured a shadow, but will post on Monday in my comments as to what it is.

Enjoy your weekend!

Come on, sun! I really would like to see my shadow today!

Thanks for reminding me to look at what I see. You know kind of like hearing but not listening.
Great shots - shadows are a bit like ones problems, sometimes they make an object/problem larger than it appears or is.

When you are looking for shadows you DO notice when there are of of grey days, don't you? Somehow you always seem to find plenty to photograph, Sylvia!

That first shot is my favorite, I think! I don't know if I would have paid attention to it, had I seen it on a walk or something. Thanks for making me notice it's wonderment and beauty!!

That does appear to be one jumbo sized watering can. That would water my whole yard in one go! Cutie Sam! I wonder if his hair was left to grow whether it would form dreadlocks? I think Sam would look rather cool as a dreadlocked doggie :) Have a great week Sylvia!

I like the fence and Sam the best. Sam doesn't need a haircut- he's perfect just the way he is. But maybe he'll feel better.
