Sky Watch Friday!

Time to share your skies, the beauty over your world, the clouds, the colors! Sky Watch is hosted each week by Klaus and the Sky Watch team of Klaus, Sandy, Wren, Fishing Guy and me. Join us and the many people from all over the world who share theirs with us each week! Click on the icon and sign up today!

I had a great time at my friend's house last weekend and got lots of pictures although the weather wasn't the very best, the view from her house is totally awesome. And she loves to get out and run around even though she's nine years older than I am. She took me to some great places around the city and I want to share those with you today.

Sanity and happiness are an impossible combination. — Mark Twain

A banker is a fellow who lends you his umbrella when the sun is shining, but wants it back the minute it begins to rain. — Mark Twain

A clear conscience is the sure sign of a bad memory. — Mark Twain

This one is a little blurry because I was trying to zoom in to be able to catch the lenticular clouds over Mt Rainier, but if you click to embiggen you can get an idea of what they look like.

Sometimes I wonder whether the world is being run by smart people who are putting us on or by imbeciles who really mean it. — Mark Twain

Kindness is a language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see. — Mark Twain

The most interesting information come from children, for they tell all they know and then stop. — Mark Twain

Grief can take care of itself, but to get the full value of joy you must have somebody to divide it with. — Mark Twain

I don't think I've ever seen such lovely lenticular clouds, Sylvia, and in the bottom photo the clouds remind me of some kind of magical bird. Very nice!

Great views. Each one better than the other. The colors in the sky are fabulous.

Love these, Sylvia--especially the lenticular cloud shot. The last time I flew over Mt. Rainier, it was cloaked in one of these, and I can never get enough of 'em. I'm glad this has turned into something of a minor theme this week. Maybe you and Martha have started a trend! Have a great weekend.

Wow Sylvia. These are all fantastic shots. I think the third is my favorite and my favorite quote is the one about a clear conscience being the sign of a bad memory.

The last shot reminds me of the geese I see flying in the fall.

Your pictures are more better than your usual better as compared to most bestest or goodder or great or greated - hmmm that sounds like something I might do with cheese. All that said the second to last photo was particularly awesome. Thanks, I hope all is well in your neck of the moss. The rains are back – Yahoo!
