That's My World!

That's My World is hosted each week by Klaus and the My World team, Klaus, Sandy, Wren, Fishing Guy and me. Click on the icon and share your world with others from all over Our World! So! How is your world this week? Have you taken time to see the beauty there? What is it about your world that makes you smile or laugh or feel grateful for? You can click on the photos to embiggen and get a better look!

We've had good, bad and indifferent weather this week, which is as I'm sure you've noticed pretty much the norm for the northwest! That's not a complaint though, just a fact. And this is my world for this week! Fun as always, beautiful as always and I'm so fortunate -- as always!

Don't go around saying the world owes you a living. The world owes you nothing, it was here first. — Mark Twain

This fellow was flying over our house a couple of times and I had to get a shot or two of it!

If everyone was satisfied with himself, there would be no heroes. — Mark Twain

One more beautiful day at the beach!

Necessity is the mother of taking chances. — Mark Twain

A fun trip to Pike's Market!

Nature knows no indecencies; man invents them. — Mark Twain

I love to buy my veggies there! Beautiful and delicious!

Of course, no man is entirely in his right mind at any time. — Mark Twain

And another gorgeous sunset to wind down a perfect day!

Don't dream your life, but live your dream. — Mark Twain

And I do try to do just that, Mr. Twain!

I love your pics, Sylvia. Ironically, though I would like to visit Pike's Market someday, I don't eat a lot of veggies. I'll eat them, if someone else cooks them.

I like the mix of shots Sylvia with everything from the beach to the market and the overhead sighting. Love your ending with the golden sky. Your quotes are always excellent choices.

Hi Sylvia. Lovely post as always.

I'd shop at that market too! I haven't seen a blimp in ages, perhaps because I live out in the boonies. I think they are fascinating!

These quotes from Mark Twain are brilliant. It is no wonder we remember him and quote him. He hits the nail on the head every time it seems. I love your shots of the day. There is magic in every one of them.

Wonderful pictures, Sylvia and the vegetables look very beautifully coloured! Our weather this week is very unbalanced. We had a sunny day but a strong wind. Tomorrow we will have rain.
But I wish you a sunny and beautiful day!

Gorgeous photos, Sylvia. I love the blimp, and that beach looks positively tropical. Just the opposite of what I experienced today on top of Pikes Peak as I was being a tourist guide, with a temperature of 32 degrees F and winds of 50 MPH. I hope you had a great holiday weekend.

Is that blimp advertising the farmers' market or insurance? The market itself looks fabulous.
