Weekend Reflections

Weekend Reflections is hosted by James each week beginning Friday at 11 AM. It's another wonderful way of opening your eyes to new and different kinds of beauty. Click on the icon and join us! If the icon doesn't work here is the address and you can click on it instead: http://newtowndailyphoto.blogspot.com/

Blogger has a bunch of new stuff all of a sudden, so I'm not exactly sure how this is going to come out! I took the photos down at the harbor last night and the colors were pretty spectacular! It was definitely a night of golden reflections! Click on any of the pics to embiggen and see in greater detail! Enjoy your day!

The Guardian Goddess
of the Earth,
streaks
through the skies
her
long
jet black tresses
trailing
across the skies.

Adorned
by a polite Sun
who is
actually
trying to meet
Lady Pacifica.....

And so
a Sylvan lady
standing
at the harbor
consoles
the Sun
saying,
"You do that everyday;
Now stand still,
while I take your picture,
before the Goddess
moves,
to other lands
and other oceans
taking
all the golden trinkets
in her hair
with her ..... "

Oh Sylvia, these are just brilliant, I love them and your blog looks absolutely stunning. We are traveling for two weeks, so I am very late at getting started on my visits. Have a beautiful week, stay safe. Blessings, Mary

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
