Weekend Reflections

Weekend Reflections is hosted by James each week beginning Friday at 11 AM Eastern Standard Time. It's another wonderful way of opening your eyes to new and different kinds of beauty.  We are severely short on sunlight this week and my car is dead and gone and I'm now a hiker! So, I'm having to be extremely clever and/or inventive to find reflections. But I did find an interesting one -- I thought.  This first one is a neighbor's tree seen through our kitchen door that has a glass window and then that is reflected in the window in the breakfast room!! What I love about it is that it looks like a tree growing in the clouds and looking out it's own window! Ok, Ok, I have a vivid imagination, what can I say???

A plant reflection at the Sanctuary before the car died.  I'm still not sure what all the little white specks are, but they were all over the plant and on top of the water.
Ugich Konitari has left a new comment on your post "Weekend Reflections":

An exponential stoppage
of pistons
in a frenzy
inside geriatric cylinders,
a rotating stop
of the gearbox
and wheels,
she takes
a deep breath,
as she steps out,
wearily,
patting a tired car....

A whisper,
like a message,
and the GPS
voice
intrigues her....
"Hi ! Sanctuary here !
.....
I've watched you
so many days,
its like,
I know your car;
so do the turtles,
and the ducks,
and some very curious trees,
bending to see you
through the water.....

As
for the pollen
and milkweed seeds,
do these young folks
ever listen....
they're all over the place !
And, of course, sun rays on the water -- also taken earlier.

I particularly like the first tree image. A foreshadowing of Christmas. Sorry about the car. Strap on a pedometer and pretend that you intended to become a pedestrian. Lemonade from lemons.

Car troubles are no fun. Sigh. But sometimes being forced to look close to home reveals some of life's best moments! I love that tree shot!

Beautiful shots, as always. There is pollen, there are milkweed seeds dancing in the air. Lots of things floating on the water! I was surprised when we lived by the lake.
Cheers from Cottage Country !

I really like your pine tree in the sky -- it's a very nice capture. The other two reflections are wonderful as well.
I'm sorry to hear about your dead car -- I hope you won't be hiking for long.

Seeing trees in the clouds is a good thing.
Sylvia, you have such a delightful imagination, don't ever loose it.
Natures watery reflection tells a story of sniffing and sneezing, achoo..
Its sad to say ado to a 4 wheel friend that has carry you where ever you wanted to go.
Hopefully a new ride will come along to help you on your journey.

Keep the faith, be well and happy :>)

That first pic is completely enchanting. I love the reflection in a reflection. And as for your last photo: I put up a pic I took two weeks ago -- on the last day we had sun.

What a wonderful series of reflections, I really like the tree in the clouds. The sunlight has been absent from this side of the state too, today was very foggy with rain.

A tree living in a window in the sky? Well, what´s wrong with that? Happens every day!
