Shadow Shot Sunday!

Get out the magnifying glass, get into your best sleuthing clothes and start prowling your environment looking for those wonderful, but sometimes elusive shadows. This fun and challenging meme is hosted each week by Tracy over at Hey Harriet! Click on the link under the blog title and sign up to play!! Not much sun again, but I went crazy when it did put in a brief appearance, as you can see from my latest collage. I do like to play and it's a good thing since I'm pretty well housebound these days!

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend with lots of sun and shadows, love and laughter!

Your kitchen and dining areas leave such lovely shadows! Sam looks well, the windsor back chair stands out and the colorful glass leaves behind shadowy bliss. Nicely captured as always!

Your beautiful collage is testimony to the amazing shadows that may be found in and around the home - when the sun is shining that is! Good one!

What fun shadow play on the things around the house....all presented in such a neat composition with the framed mosaic! How fun that you knew about Buffalo Wallow and Abilene. I live in San Angelo now, but also grew up in the small West Texas town of Monahans. You mentioned that you grew up in West Texas....it's a small world, huh? Thanks for stopping by my blog...always nice to meet another Girl Raised In Texas...GRIT!!!

These is so much to see in your collage bristling with shadows and of all kinds. Wonderful red of your vase.

If it weren't so late in the season, I would suggest digging into a tub of ice cream, great for any occasion and it stops thought for a while whele you concentrate on something pleasurable.

Hugs and Blessings . . . Arija

KITCHEN SHADOWS

Kitchen shadows dance and sing,
Laughing at ‘most anything,
Finding mirth in forks and spoons
Or in timer’s ticking tunes;
Howling at the cups and plates
And their endless dinner dates.
Kitchen shadows sing and dance—
Culinary, this romance.

Perfect color combos on this collage...sun, oh glorious sun, in short supply for these last few days, quite windy too. But we know what lies ahead and greet it with open arms, for it too shall pass and spring will be knocking at our door, but now we rest from the toil of the summer...however, I'll gladly take the toil of summer...right!

Have a wonderful Sunday!
