Deer Visits Cat in Yard Every Morning!

A cat in Harrisburg, PA has a special friend that visits every morning. The owner finally took pics.

Those we love don't have to be exactly like us.

Well that is a sight one doesn't see every day. Would like to though.

PS Hotmail is still tagging your emails as "suspicious" despite you being on my list of safe senders!

Animals are interestly odd at times or maybe they just act outside what we consider normal. Nice, fun pictures.

Too adorable. I've seen these pictures before and am thrilled to see them again. Just wonderful.
And you're absolutely right. We can love those who aren't exactly like us.

I don't remember what I ate when I was healthy and living alone. When I was living alone but not well, cooking was a sometimes thing. It would depend on how I felt.
When I felt well enough, I loved to invite people over. A chicken is easy to cook and instead of stuffing it, I'd wash it well and put a quartered apple, a quartered onion, some celery and seasonings inside it, with garlic powder on the outside and some mild paprika for coloring.
When I was young and healthy, my signature dinner party dish was a stock pot full of Shrimp Creole done according to my own recipe. It took just cutting up peppers and onions, but I enjoyed it then. I can't even think of such a thing now.
335 divided by four is 83.75. That's amazing, Friko, but wonderful.

How lovely and touching and you are absolutely right; in fact isn't it better if they aren't exactly alike?

What an amazing inter-species relationship! These are great shots! I believe that some day all animals will be at peace with one another---"The lion will lie down with the lamb." So the occasional inter-species "friendhip" is like a foretaste of what's to come!

That is beautiful. Our cat keeps chasing them into the forest.

We lost a deer last night to a car accident. I am so sad. She didn't suffer, tho'.

What a delight to see nature behaving better than mankind - I had a pic of a polar bear romping with sled dogs in Canada. They didnt get the memo that they shouldnt get along

I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
