Evening, Wisdom and Beauty

May I never miss a sunset or rainbow because I am looking down.

Come forth into the light of things, let nature be your teacher.

I love to think of nature as an unlimited broadcasting station, through which God speaks to us every hour, if we will only tune in.

All your shots are great, but the first one is stunning. I love the glow of the sunset in the shadows.

Good thing the snowflakes are still falling on your blog, Sylvia! Hope you don't get too much at your house. I really enjoyed your quotes today. Can we change the weather channel though? :)

Your photos are always so beautiful and the wisdom goes well with them.

You are a wonderful woman, did you know that?

Just my honest opinion.

Love the photos and the inspiration.
As for the snowflakes, we are due for another 5-8 inches this weekend. I love to watch it snow, yet I am SO ready for spring weather.

Beautiful pictures. I just now noticed the butterfly poem on your sidebar. It made me cry. So lovely. I also see the link to your other blog and I'll go there. (Both those sidebar features have probably been there for months, but I just happened to see them.).

Thanks for the lovely thoughts and photos to illustrate them, Sylvia.

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
