That's My World!

That's My World is hosted each week by Klaus and the My World team, Klaus, Sandy, Wren, Fishing Guy and me. Join us and share your world with others from all over Our World! Just click on the post title, read the rules, sign up and play with us! So! How is your world this week? Have you taken time to see the beauty there? What is it about your world that makes you smile or laugh or feel grateful for?  It has been windy and really cold, BUT! Blue skies and lots of sun for the past couple of days. A blogging friend from California, Linnea at http://photoblogista.blogspot.com/, was here in Seattle and we went photo hunting together! We headed for the Sound! Amazing, but people were having great fun in the water and on on boats in spite of the rough sea and the cold! What a great day! So, this is what I'm sharing with you today! And it all started with getting this shot of a setting moon on Saturday morning!

Another blogging friend, Sally, http://www.chickendanceranch.com/ and I met this young lady earlier this week!  She was waiting for her "owner" who was having a cup of coffee in a nearby coffee shop! Seems she accompanies him everywhere in the front seat of his pick-up! Amazing the things we find in our world once we start looking, isn't it?  She was a friendly one, though and posed for pictures!!
And finally, a lovely end to a beautiful, fun day!!
God must love the common man, he made so many of them.

What a polite pic!

That last shot is fabulous - and, oh! Lucky you - with blossoms already! Far removed from my cold cold world...

"Guard against the impostures of pretended patriotism." So true, it is amazing what people will say and do in the name of "patriotism".
It was beautiful but cold where we are visiting in Santa Cruz yesterday. One beautiful day to make up for two days of rain.

What a lovely post, Sylvia! The pig is a real pet. It reminds me of "Babe"an Australian little pig who wins a sheepdog contest, even if she is not a sheepdog.
Have a very pleasant week, Sylvia!

Great post Sylvia. The pig looks very happy to be taken everywhere. We're beginning to have signs of spring too.

Oh how fun it is to meet a blogging friend! Super photos for MyWorld this week, Sylvia! And I'm so glad you are finally seeing signs of spring! (But I'm not seeing the linking on MyWorld and I'm wondering if it's just me? It's 3:18 pm EST - or 4:18 am here! Heeeelp!)

Your sunset picture shows a spectacular ending to a photogenic day, Sylvia. I so enjoyed this glimpse into the windy seaside that never fails to attract activity. I, too, saw the full moon through my window but didn’t get its picture. And the pig … one of my all time favorite animals. This one is lucky to be a pampered pet.

Beautiful images. The last one is my favorite.

Moonset to sunset, and all the beauty in between. A lovely day to share with a friend, and with us.

I love the pig. The first thing that came to mind was Arnold the Pig in the long-ago sitcom, Green Acres. I doubt they're related. :)

Wow, those are amazing photos, Sylvia. The beauty you capture is wonderful, although it looks too cold to be on that water! I've never yet met one of my blogging friends in real life, but hopefully that will change one of these days. Have a great week!

I love the pot-bellied pig, the gorgeous sunset photo, and the Geo. Washington quotes on this, 2/22, his birthday! Plus all the other sky and water photos, of course, are spectacular, as always, Sylvia. Have a wonderful week.

Another great collection of photos and quotes. I love the pig, for some reason they are quite adorable looking but my favorite pic is the third. Technically it may not be the best but I could feel the wind and hear the surf and I love it. Can't beat old Abe for quotes. He, Will Rogers, and Mark Twain would have made a great trio.

I hope everything is going well Sylvia.

The snow-capped mountain ranges beyond the cold-looking sea is breathtaking, and I feel cold wind through the movement of the grass. And then you made me feel warm by the next photo of spring blossoms. Sylvia, I’m happy to share your glorious day.
