Shadow Shot Sunday!

Get out the magnifying glass, get into your best sleuthing clothes and start prowling your environment looking for those wonderful, but sometimes elusive shadows. This fun and challenging meme is hosted each week by Tracy over at Hey Harriet! Click on the link under the blog title and sign up to play!!

Please, everyone, offer prayers for the families and victims of the horrific earthquake and tsunami in Japan. Warnings are being issued as far away as California and Washington. I think we all have friends in these areas that are in need of our prayers and good thoughts.
Nothing is impossible, the word itself says 'I'm possible'!

I like the shadow falling gently over the snout of Mojo (right doggie?)

Yu have the most elegant home, inside and out. Hopefully soon it will be time to relax on your deck instead of admiring its shadow!

Wonderful shadow shots, Sylvia, especially the last one, but of course I like the one of Mojo best.

Great shadowy collage, Sylvia. My favorite is the tree towering over that lovely lawn! I hope you're having a great weekend.

Hi Sylvia,

The sun streaming through the conch shell is a great shot! My mom had one of those on the bookcase for years.
Brings back memories.
Love the Audrey Hepburn quote. She was so beautiful, wasn't she?

My prayers go out to the people of Japan.

Thanks for visiting. Enjoy the weekend!

Hi Sylvia! Lovely shots! Hope things don't get worse with the problems at the nuclear plant in Japan...

Matisse and Chagall: what a ticket... Confirm it at Blogtrotter Two... Enjoy and have a great weekend!!

Hello Sylvia, I like the shot oh your shadow against the best. I like your jaunty stance! And my families hearts are full to the brim for those poor families in Japan. I can not imagine their loss.

A beautiful collage of shadow shots. Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Japan at this terrible time for them!

I share your sentiments for those affected by this great natural disaster. Makes shadow shots not that imnportant, but good to reach for some beauty as we pray. Nice job Sylvia K.

Peace.

I love the quote...so true! and my favorite photo is where the sun is shining through the conk shell...that is gorgeous!

Lovely set of shadows and contrasting colours. Love the shell and the fun one at the bottom right. (Yes, sustaining thoughts being sent as we 'speak'. Does tragedy bring us together I wonder)

The conch shell got me this time Sylvia. Great shadows as usual but I loved the glow through the shell.

Take care!

Another wonderful collection of shadow shots Sylvia. As always, I love your coloured glass photos. I haven't taken part in SSS for several weeks. It's good to be back.

My thoughts and prayers go to Japan and others affected by this devastation, as well as those affected by the earthquake in Christchurch, NZ and the the floods, fires and cyclones in Australia.

A beautiful selection of shadow photos Sylvia!

My thoughts are with those in Japan and other areas affected by the tsunami. 2011 seems to be a year filled with natural disasters worldwide. It's so very sad and I hope things don't continue along this path for the remainder of the year. Enough Mother Nature! Show us your good side now please!?!

Have a great week Sylvia :)

The shadow in the last shot is very lovely too:-)
My heart goes out to all those people affected by this tragedy. My Sincere prayers with them.
Have a wonderful week, Sylvia:-)

I love your supermodel pose near the plant :)

I love the way you arranged your shadow shots. I really like the lady by the palm. I wanted to post something about Japan as well, but could not think of how to do it. Nothing would be adequate. Your words are a fine recognition of their plight.

I really like several of these, but I'll single out the sweet shot with the shadows on the pup's nose. I'm a sucker for dog photos.
