That's My World!

That's My World is hosted each week by Klaus and the My World team, Klaus, Sandy, Wren, Fishing Guy and me. Join us and share your world with others from all over Our World! Just click on the post title, read the rules, sign up and play with us! So! How is your world this week? Have you taken time to see the beauty there? What is it about your world that makes you smile or laugh or feel grateful for?  I've been in my new place for a day and a half and it's wonderful!! Another look at the view from my office and  a couple of quick peeks  at my "unfinished" office and bedroom! I'm really pleased they're coming along as well as they are! Adam and Amber spent the afternoon here adding to the fun!  It has been a great move in many different ways!! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!!

After two sunny, perfect moving days, the pouring rain returned today! But guess what? It doesn't look nearly as grim and depressing from 5 floors up!!

Oh, I just love your new home, Sylvia! You have made it your own! Like where you placed your colored glass on the window sills. You also have a beautiful view!

Oh … I love the lacey curtain photo and the lighting and shadows. Also, love how your new home overlooks a forest, Sylvia! In view of the sunset, it seems to face West. For having just moved in the rooms look impressively tidy … although I wouldn’t be surprised if there were unpacked boxes behind the scenes. :)

Moving is so difficult, I still don't feel settled since I moved 4 years ago. Your new home looks lovely and those views are wonderful, I hope you can see the sun rise or set from your windows. Your bedroom looks like a relaxing place. I hope you will be happy there.
Take care and enjoy your week unpacking.

What a nice place. I love how you got your desk jam up to the window. (I love how the new monitors are so darn big and bulky.) What a view to ponder things over.

Thanks for showing us a bit of your new world!

Hi - glad to hear that your move went well.
I like the idea of pictures through gaps and sapces - just like your window shot - I think they give the image a sense of depth. I also like the way they frame the picture, just like a frame on a print or painting.

Have a good week - Stewart M - Australia

Tranquil and peaceful photos are great soothing! All I need is a neat desk like yours. And all I must know is "how to live the time that is given you". Sylvia, thank you for sharing. Have a nice week!

I'm happy for you, Sylvia, that you were blessed with fine weather during two days of moving and that your new place looks so neat, comfortable, and fascinating with the views of forest, sunset, and the likes. I love light and shadows created through lace curtains. I nodded deeply especially with the last quoted words.

oh, is that where you sit and work at the computer? Don´t the backlight disturb you? You might get headache. I could not place mine like that.

I love the curtains. :)

It's good to see you settling in. I know every time I've moved, I've sworn "never again" but then that doesn't hold up, does it? You look to have a lovely new place, looking down on the rain. Enjoy the beauty you are so good at finding all around you.

I'm so happy for you! Love the Apartment. The quote about all change even the good ones being stressful is certainly appropriate in your circumstances. But what a beautiful spot and soon you will wake up and feel like you've always lived there. It's a beautiful place.
