Walking the Dog!!

A woman was flying from Seattle
to San Francisco. Unexpectedly,
the plane was diverted to
Sacramento along the way.

The flight attendant explained
that there would be a delay,
and if the passengers wanted
to get off of the aircraft the
plane would re-board in
50 minutes.

Everybody got off the plane
except one lady who was blind

A man had noticed her as he walked by
and could tell the lady was blind
because her seeing-eye dog lay quietly
underneath the seats in front of her
throughout the entire flight

He could also tell she had flown
this very flight before because
the pilot approached her, and
calling her by name, said,
"Kathy, we are in Sacramento
for almost an hour
Would you like to get off
and stretch your legs?"

The blind lady said, "No thanks,
but maybe Buddy would like
to stretch his legs."

Picture this:

All the people in the gate area
came to a complete standstill
when they looked up and saw
the pilot walk off the plane
with a seeing-eye dog! The pilot
was even wearing sunglasses

People scattered. They not
only tried to change planes,
but they were trying to
change airlines! True story.....

Have a great day and remember....
THINGS AREN'T ALWAYS
AS THEY APPEAR

A DAY WITHOUT LAUGHTER
IS A DAY WASTED!!!

Funny, Sylvia. I really don't know where you get all of these stories and jokes, or how you remember them when it is time to post.

Hi Sylvia, that is too funny! Your cloud pics for this week are so pretty. I'm getting ready to post my SkyWatch now.

I hope that you are enjoying your new home and are getting settled in.

God bless,

Kathy M.

LOL, planes are not auto pilot.

On Monday, my daughter graduated. A girl with an seeing eye dog graduated with an LLB honours, There were thunderous clapping and Yahooing.

I went home, and wonder why there wasn't standing ovation. Then I realised, she couldn't see people standing, but she could hear them.

That's a good one, Sylvia! And a very good lesson to remember as well. Hope all is well with you and Sam.

That's why we in Asia do not allow dogs on planes; if there were a stampede, there's a lot more of us to create panic!!!

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
