Shadow Shot Sunday!

Get out the magnifying glass, get into your best sleuthing clothes and start prowling your environment looking for those wonderful, but sometimes elusive shadows. This fun and challenging meme is hosted each week by Tracy over at Hey Harriet! Click on the link under the blog title and sign up to play!!

I hope you are all enjoying Fall's arrival! As usual we've had a little of it all weather wise, but the temps are still pretty mild and we still have lots of color everywhere!!  Enjoy your weekend!!

Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is not to stop questioning.

Keep love in your heart. A life without it is like a sunless garden when the flowers are dead. The consciousness of loving and being loved brings a warmth and richness to life that nothing else can bring.
Oscar Wilde
To succeed in life, you need three things: a wishbone, a backbone and a funnybone.

I prefer the colors of the autumnal flora to the changing leaves - the summer look still appeals to me. The cold will just have to wait, the warmth of the flowers is wonderful!

As a great fan of Reba, I enjoyed her quote the most (I recently tracked down - via ebay - her greatest hits DVDs from a retailer in Californis .... the joys of the internet!)
Anyway, super photos as ever, Sylvia ..... especially the dahlias, which always evoke fond memories of my Dad, who grew fabulous ones!!

Love the dahlias as well.

Looks like you live rather high up. Nice view!

I don't know what kind of two-tone flowers they are in the vase, but the autumn colors are pretty.

Enjoy the weekend, Sylvia!

I like 'em all, but the one in the middle...the one with the warmth and cozy atmosphere of the filtered sunlight is my favorite.

Great photos. The flowers in the first shot are beautiful with their soft shadows within. The shadowy chair and the street scene are nice too. The quotes below each photo add a nice touch.
