How About a Smile, a Giggle, Maybe a Belly Laugh!!

A very prestigious cardiologist died, and was given a very elaborate funeral by the hospital where he had worked for most of his life. A huge heart, covered in flowers stood behind the casket during the service as all the doctors from the hospital sat in awe. Following the eulogy, the heart opened, and the casket rolled inside.  The heart then closed, sealing the doctor in the beautiful heart forever.
At that point, one of the mourners just burst into laughter. When all eyes stared at him, he said, "I'm so sorry --- I was just thinking of my own funeral ---- I'm a gynecologist."
The Priest fainted.

EXERCISE  FOR PEOPLE  OVER  50

Begin by standing on a comfortable surface, where you have plenty of room at each side.

With a 5-lb
potato bag in each hand, extend your arms straight out from your sides and hold them there as long as you can. Try to reach a full minute, and then relax.

Each day you'll find that you can hold this position for just a bit longer. After a couple of weeks, move up to 10-lb potato bags.

Then try 50-lb potato bags and then eventually try to get to where you can lift a 100-lb potato bag in each hand and hold your arms straight for more than a full minute.

After you feel confident at that level, put a potato in each bag.

Love your sense of humor...and I love the cat! Cats are gods. The potato story I've heard before but that's only 'cause I'm so old people keep telling those kinds of things! :-)

Fingers crossed! May the good guys win!

Your quotes are very amusing as useful. I see in your header that you are a fan of the president I would choose if I were an American. I am watching the Dutch TV now. It is all about the elections in the States. It' s very exciting.
I wish the USA the best president. Have a great day tomorrow.

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
