You live in a very beautiful spot Sylvia, and I really enjoy seeing it through your lens. Happy weekend!

Beautiful green in the bottom one but the top photo really catches my eye.

Have a great weekend Sylvia!

I just love the quote of Donella Meadows : it is so right... Nice pictures too, Sylvia : the sunset is really my favourite, with this tree "hijacking" the light reflected on the water with its shadow of counter-light...

Lovely reflection photos, Sylvia - the log in the second one almost looks like a long crocodile snout! Have a great weekend with Sam - Socks is sitting near me as I'm working from home today.

As I've said before, I enjoy your quotes as well as your photos.

This is a great post, Sylvia. I appreciate the Leopold quote. His Sand County Almanac was a revelation to me. What a beautiful heart.

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
