Sky Watch Friday

Ah, and another week has almost slipped by!! Time does fly whether you’re having fun or not, but fortunately, I do have fun in every season! There is always something to enjoy to be awed by with each season!!  I hope you enjoy the pics/skies for the day!! Wishing all of you a beautiful weekend!!

"When the bold branches
Bid farewell to rainbow leaves -
Welcome wool sweaters."
-   B. Cybrill

"The winds will blow their own freshness into you,
and the storms their energy,
while cares will drop away from you
like the leaves of Autumn."
-   John Muir

"Youth is like spring, an over praised season more remarkable for
biting winds than genial breezes.  Autumn is the mellower season,
and what we lose in flowers we more than gain in fruits."
-  Samuel Butler

"Listen ...
With faint dry sound,
Like steps of passing ghosts,
The leaves, frost-crisp'd, break free from the trees
And fall."
-   Adelaide Crapsey, 1878-1914, November Night

You are Queen of the Skies, my friend. Each picture you post is just as stunning as the one before it. The third picture with the sun just above the trees is my favorite today. Hope you have a dry and cool weekend.

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
