The spirit of Christmas which is peace;
The heart of Christmas which is love.

Enthusiasm is the best protection in any situation. Wholeheartedness is contagious. Give yourself, if you wish to get others.

Love the pockets of puffy whites in the first photo. And the colours in the last one are magical.

So beautiful. The quotes are new to me ... And absolutely perfect. The first one makes me want to make some Christmas cards with that message inside! Maybe next year!

What a lovely set of skies you've shared today, Sylvia. I hope you're having a great week - our Chihuahua is very unhappy with the cold weather but is being a good dog; the Pomeranian loves cold weather. They both give you a woof!

Oh, yes, so that is what a sky looks like? ;-)
Ours have been mostly monochrome. We have had a warning: "Unusual warmth for time of year" 10 degrees C. We are at the latitude of Anchorage, Alaska.

Great colours! We are having our first really hot spell of the summer (somewhat earlier than normal!) - the sky is just a solid blue and you can feel the heat - I'd rather have ones like your pictures!

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
