Slowly But Surely

It'll take some more time, but I'm slowly getting this new blogsite at least resembling the original. This has been such a pain in the butt that I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy -- even if I had one -- well I might wish it on McCain and Bush, but then they probably can't even use a computer anyway.

But I have to stop for a while -- I actually do have other things to do in my life and that's a good thing -- a few more days like yesterday and I'd be a blithering idiot! So I'm off to Tai Chi class and then after lunch I'm off to work with a children's art class.

The sun is shining and it's a beautiful day here in the northwest.

Again, thank you for helping me get this mess cleaned up, for your encouragement and good thoughts! Lots of hugs to you all!

Way hayyyy, Made it, I have been trying to alter your code on my PC since this morning, success at last have got it. The ruddy machines are fine when they are working but drive you to distraction when they are not. OK now. Cheers, Kate x.

Meant to ask you before, and keep forgetting - what kind of Tai Chi you do? I have been doing Taoist TC for about 15 years. At the time I started, I didn't realize there was more than one kind, but now I'm glad I learned the 108 moves kind. I was able to memorize it so I can do it by myself wherever I am. Not sure I could do the same with the 300 moves kind!

You'll know by this that the reason I haven't responded before is that I have had a small crisis of my own. I'm doing my bit to spread the word now mate.
Look on the side bars of 70 Plus and Still Kicking and Journeys in Creative Writing.
Cheers

You have done an outstanding job making your new blog very interesting right from the start. I know how it is when the computer has its own mind and won't tellyou how it works. I am taking well over a month before I get back to posting photographs but I will get there.

I read an article on that problem in the WSJ. Apparently, you can contact blogger and they can get you back in ... but it takes time and some persistence. Have you tried posing that question on the Blogger forum?

An alternative might be to keep your new one up and running, and work out the problem in the background, and eventually combine them. I'm sure your thinking about all those options.

Good luck

I’m glad you’re keeping some balance and perspective as you tackle this huge task of starting over. I hope Robert is right … and that you’ll eventually be able to get your previous blog reactivated and perhaps integrate the two. I’m celebrating my 1st Blogoversary TODAY at Small Reflections and tomorrow at Sacred Ruminations. Hope you’ll drop by if time permits.
Hugs and blessings,

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
