This and That

After a frustrating day of having to put a new blog together, I didn't have a lot of energy to post anything that required me to think, so I decided to share some interesting clouds, a hawk enjoying a sunset, and a spider trying to build his web in the rain one night on one of our kitchen windows. Nothing like a little oddity now and then.

Your hawk photo is gorgeous! And I really like the wet spider.

Me too. This entire blog mess is terrible, Sylvia. I had been blogging for three years and last year I inadvertently deleted mine. So the one I have now is relatively recent.

I'm saddened by your Blogger woes and can imagine how challenging starting over might be, but I'm relieved to have seen Bobbie's post last night and to find you this morning doing just that. The photos are wonderful and I'll return to read and comment on the "Gray or Black' post but I've got my PSE6 class this morning and time's getting away from me already. I did watch Colin Powell's interview on Meet the Press and was most impressed with the manner in which he shared his thinking. Hope you can relax as you pull things together here the way you'd like them to be.
Hugs and blessings,

Loved the photos on your new blog. I have been e-mailing several people and leaving comments so they can find you again. So sorry for all the trouble you are having.

So glad you got things sorted out, and are back to blogging! What is most scary to me about all this is that it seems to have just 'happened'and you didn't do anything 'wrong.' Makes me feel a little vulnerable! But then, I'm still a little twitchy after my own computer troubles. Lets hope it's all over and done with for us all! Love you assortment of photos, very peaceful!

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
