Thoughts for the Evening

These little reminders have been around for sometime -- they're still true.

Life is short,
Break the rules,
Forgive quickly,
Kiss slowly,
Love truly,
Laugh uncontrollably,
And never regret anything that made you smile.
Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we're here we should dance.

Yes! Yes, I will as soon as I can.

life is what happens while we are making other plans...

I agree with most of it. There is however one line that kept me thinking. There has been couple of times when I have laughed and smiled when it wasn´t a good idea, because I felt evil afterwards.

Excellent words to live by! And a beautiful photo; I can almost smell the flowers they're so close.

I love to dance ...I'm a good chair dancer if I say so myself! Thanks Sylvia for always bringing us back to what's important in life!

I love the quote here. I've just turned 60 and am thinking about these things a lot!

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
