A New Exercise Program

The older we get the more important it is to incorporate exercise into our daily routine. This is necessary to maintain cardiovascular health and maintain muscle mass.

If you're over 40, you might want to take it easy at first, then do more repetitions as you become more proficient and build stamina. Warning: It may be too strenuous for some.

Always consult your doctor before starting any exercise program!

SCROLL DOWN...........

NOW SCROLL UP..

That's enough for the first day. Great job.

Have a glass of wine.

Sylvia,

You forgot to mention that we needed to breathe out after the whole breathless suspense. .......

Too funny!

LOL ... you definitely took me by surprise with this one and I appreciate the outburst of laughter here that startled Molly out of a sound sleep and made ME feel lighter ... just because.

how funny, my fingers feel stronger already. seriously I just started back into water aerobics 3 times a week and after the first class I'm so stiff and have sore leg muscles but that's good cause I'm progressing. No pain, no gain.

Sylvia, that's the best exercise I've ever done! I feel so rejuvenated! Bwahahahahahaha! :)

I added to your workout - I fell off my chair laughing. Does that count as an extra exercise for the day?

LOL! This is great - the subject of physical activity and exercise really needs a shot of humor and fun!

Doesn't really make sense for something that's "good for you" to be a pain in the you-know-what...

And we all need to begin somewhere, thanks for making such a good point with your humor :)

Cheers,

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
