This week has been Seattle at it's best! Blue skies, warm sun, cool breeze! Needless to say, I headed for the beach and the park just five minutes from our house. There were a few gauzy clouds earlier, but they soon vanished. All of the photos will look better if you click on them to embiggen.
Such rich green trees and shrubs hugging the edge of the sandy beach. Took my breath away!
There was one young man out on the water early with his water skies and sail/kite!
There were sailing boats everywhere and lots of people!

a happy thursday sylvia from overcast and humid roanoke, virginia. beautiful captures of the beautiful coastline of washington...makes me wish i were back in southern california.
I an echoing Susan, our skies here in Illinois have been cloudy and our temps cool. I'm not complaining because the hot sticky stuff is kind of yucky too!
Both type of days sure beats the winter so I'm happy with it all ways!

I long for a dry hot summer day. We had temperatures in the nineties today and high humidity.
These are all so beautiful. If I was a few years (decades) younger, I would have to try kite boards. They look like so much fun.
