Evening, Wisdom and Beauty

And ever has it been known that love knows not its own depth until the hour of separation.
Kahlil Gibran

A little knowledge that acts is worth infinitely more than much knowledge that is idle.
Kahlil Gibran

Advance, and never halt, for advancing is perfection. Advance and do not fear the thorns in the path, for they draw only corrupt blood.
Kahlil Gibran

All our words are but crumbs that fall down from the feast of the mind.
Kahlil Gibran

An eye for an eye, and the whole world would be blind.

These are all great Sylvia, but I have to say the fourth pic is one of the best photos I've seen in quite some time.

Love is all you are. These images reflect timeless beauty. A wise individual moves not to judge. This happens as one moves into conscious alignment wih higher awareness and pure consciousness.

Yes, there is a feast in my brain but all others have to do with my leftovers. That explains a lot!:-) That´s a keeper.

Hi this is not the "road less traveled" - like the photo I did take last week.
It makes me happy to know that you like my photos, thank you.

You gave me some wisdom here and nice photos to look at even the winter one makes me smile even if it looks cold, Mb

Avoid not the world because the world is us. It is all interesting.

Change not the world because we respect all of our collective choices.

Move forward to experience new sensations and the world will celebrate and adjust to your discoveries.

The photos are wonderful, and Kahlil's quote about 'an eye for an eye' is one of my favourites.

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
