ABC Wednesday -- X!

And the test question today is, how man X words can you find? ABC Wednesday is hosted each week by Mrs. Denise Nesbitt, so put on your thinking caps and join the alphabetical fun!

X is for Xanadu -- the movie with a young Olivia Newton John!

Remember that one?

And for Xanadu the resort in Ambergris Caye, Belize! And I surely wouldn't object to a visit there.

And X marks the spot!

Oh, we are old enough to remember that poster and still young enough to try to find the "X" for that hidden treasure. Happy New Year.

Nice photos and X-words! The ABC makes very interesting posts and show a lot of ingenuity of bloggers with every following letter. Thanks for your X's! Have a great week!

I remember the movie. This year, my school kids did a pirate production, and in my sessions, I got them to draw X in their maps. They certainly got to know a lot of Pirate things.

Enjoyed that.

I don't remember the film but I remember the song had whip crack in it. The resort in Belize looks quite wonderful and the place to be at the moment, some buried treasure would be nice as well. Great trio.
Wishing you and yours a happy new year.

that could be a fun thing to try - to find as many X words as possible.
Just so it isn't X-rated.

Well, I own the movie, but can't say it's very good. The resort looks fantastic though, wouldn't mind going there either!

I had thought about Xanadu, too--but I didn't have any photos of tropical paradises:) Great idea, Sylvia!

The best part about getting to your ABC post a little later is that I also take time to read your "Evening Words of Wisdom." I'm going to copy that quote about beauty as we age--definitely one to remember. Thanks, Sylvia, and wishes for a Happy New Year!

Delicious X's. I'm still smiling at the classifieds and the cartoon from your newer post. A guffaw is a great start to the day~
