Sky Watch is hosted each week by Klaus and the Sky Watch Team of Klaus, Sandy, Wren, Fishing Guy, Louise and myself. Wishing everyone a very Happy New Year! And another year of beautiful skies! Share yours with us for the New Year! Click on the icon and sign up, but PLEASE! do read and follow the instructions! Thank you!

We had a "sky war" going on in our skies last evening! The gray against the blue, complete with "cloud monsters".

Some blue sky, some lovely clouds to begin with!

Uh oh! Here comes the gray!

First one cloud monster!

And then two!! Click to embiggen and see what you can see!

The gray won! Surprise, surprise!! Nope, no surprise!

WONDERFUL CLOUDS.....
Children's eyes can explain us "grown ups" the meaning of their shapes and forms and where they are heading to and coming from.......( actually my boys explain me those "important details" always..)
Dear Sylvia, I wish you a very HAPPY NEW YEAR and I'm looking forward to see you soon!
TANTISSIMI AUGURI!!

Those are just beautiful shots. When the two come together it's like a meeting of the minds :) I love them. You know my friend, I've so enjoyed getting to know you through our blogs. I can't wait for my visit to Seattle to get to give you a big ole' Hawaiian hug. I so hope we do get to meet for lunch or something. I've told my mom and niece this is one thing I really want to do. You are truly an amazing lady and a wonderful PhQB!!! ROFLMAO!! Hau’oli Makahiki Hou to you and your entire family. I hope it's safe, healthy and happy :)

The blue sky and lovely clouds put up a valiant fight, even some sun rays were thrown about. Wonderful set!

Lovely light and dark contrasts, the sun trying to get the upper hand. It was the same here, too, this AM.
I do like the last one with the very dark foreground of
trees!

Hah, the dark grey monsters of the skies. The fight of Godzilla and Mozilla. Rumble in the skyjungle. The monster in the second one was perhaps the most impressive.

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
