Shadow Shot Sunday!

Happy New Year to everyone and I hope you all had a great holiday! Now it's time to see what shadows we can find to start 2010! SSS is hosted each week by Tracy at Hey Harriet! Click on the icon, sign up, get out your magnifying glass and see what shadows you can come up with!

Sun has been pretty scarce around here this week and I had to do some serious searching. But when a few rays did show up I tried chased them down. They were mostly in the kitchen where most of the colored glass is.

Shadows are hard to find sometimes. Yet our imaginations will help us find the lighting effects we seek. Your kitchen is perfect, the shadowy vase shows up nicely. The colored glass always makes fun shadows. No problems here, the shadows are great!

Well you chased them down well my friend. They are all great and the first one is absolutely the best. Well done. Question, you gonna need a snow plow for your blog with it snowing so much here? ROFLMAO!!!

You always manage to find something for your shadow shot. I cheated this week and went to my archive but at last, I'm looking out my window and seeing some sun. Will it last?

Loving the 3rd one! The streamline looks like ocean. Or am I just dreaming of a beachy mode?

Great one!

Wishing you all the best of 2010.

I love how you manage to find shadows even when there's not much sun ... and your colored shadows are always special. Thanks for checking out my ‘Critter Shadows’ at Small Reflections. Because we get so much sunshine where I live, I always have an abundance of photos so I’ve shared A Mosaic of Neighborhood Shadows at Sacred Ruminations too ... just because.
Hugs and blessings,

You found some neat shadows this week, Sylvia! My favorite is the first one, the shadow of the vase really shows off its form.

Very nice.

I took some sun-through-the-window shadow shots last week. This week I got shadows on snow.

It's all good.

These are gorgeous! I'm just loving your coloured glass collection!

PS - Sorry for my mistake in adding your incorrect link earlier. I'm glad you spotted it and re-entered. I've deleted the wrong one. My excuse is that I was adding all the links pre-coffee this morning and my brain was still really really sluggish. I made a gazillion mistakes but sadly didn't pick up on yours. Thankfully you did :)

They say that red colour has the most expensive ingredients and therefore I often think that red reflections through the red glass is somehow fancier than other light. More exguisite.
