So these photos are from a previous spring? I love that clematis! We have a few shoots of spring bulbs starting to poke through.
I enjoyed your Emergency Flashers

...I think I'll be ready in a couple of weeks...after I've been able to finally get up to the slopes for a weekend.

Beautiful photos. I like the quote about a kiss. :) Flowering Plums are blooming here now, a little rain-worn, but blooming.

Spring is on its way - Two more weeks and its time to plant those peas. But keep the mud boots close by.

My dear PhQB...after just leaving your fine city I would be ready for spring as well. Wonderful pictures and quotes. :)

So am I Sylvia! I sense Spring is around the corner. my son just said tonight, he sees Spring like a light at the end of the tunnel, the light is very small but it is definitely there. I thought that was a hopeful way of looking at it.

The quote about laughter is so true, it really is the best medicine.

Sylvia, this is another splendid sequence of pictures! I find so true the words of Arnold Glasow.
Have a nice day!

Am excited for you Slyvia. Am sure when its time for Spring, you will share more great photos to us.

Nice captures and interesting quotations. You made me smile with the first quote because whenever we are tired and busy, we always tell and remind our colleagues ( nurses and other members of healthcare team ) the importance of smile.

Oh Sylvia, all the quotes are so true. I love the "kissing" one and it's a fact that laughter is a tranquilizer without side-effects. Have a wonderful weekend. (Friday is Sunday in the Sudan, so I'm a bit early.) (((hugs))) Jo

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
