I love Maxine! Thanks for sharing these with us -- her observations are right on.

I love Maxine too! Sylvia, great words of wisdom. I received this one last week that could go hand in hand: "I'm ready to listen, are you ready to think?"

Hi Sylvia! These are so funny!
I came by today looking for your November 5, 2009 peace globe but I couldn't find the link. You signed the Mr. Linky on my site when the launch started but I can't find your globe. I want to add it to the gallery and thank you for participating.

If you made one in November, please send it to me or tell me where to find it! Thank you so much.

Peace,
Mimi Lenox

ROFL! I just read these out loud and we were all laughing!

I had an extra laugh too, Sylvia, because while I was doing that I got an email that you were commenting on my blog at the same time LOL Great minds think alike!

I'm not reading the news these days for fear of the worst. (Ignorance is bliss!)

The guy that writes Maxine's lines hits the nail on the head and makes us laugh.

You made me laugh out loud and disturb the reader here to let her in on the laugh!

Hah hah, I´m guilty of buying many Hot Wheels- cars recently but not a single Chrysler or GM. If they only made them in the size of 2 inches...

The quarter-ouncer might actually be good for us, eh?

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
