Shadow Shot Sunday!

Fun in Shadow Land is here once again! Shadow Shot Sunday is hosted each week by Tracy over at Hey Harriet! Find some shadows in your world and share them with us. You'll be totally addicted before the day is over! Promise! Click on the icon, sign up and join the rest of us shadow searchers.

Well, as usual for this time of year, shadows are sometimes hard to come by and as the winter slowly moves along I find myself longing for a little more sunshine so I can have more shadows to play with. But what the hey! we make do with what we've got!

Here's then ....

And now .....

Sam Schnauzer enjoying a day at the beach ....

Madame Mojo gazing at her shadow ....

Sir Sam grabbing a few zzzz's in some unexpected sunshine!

And my always favorite bits of color!

Enormous, huh?

Sam and Mojo enjoy the shadowy shade in the warmer months. No need for shade in the winter, so the bare tree gives a shadow bereft of the doggies. The canine shadows are like their subjects, inquisitive as to what to do next. Sam appears comfortable on the chair. As always, the colorful vases leave wonderful shadows!

Have a lovely weekend - keep warm.

I am envying Sam & Mojo's life. Enjoying the warmth of the sun.

Yeah... shadows are hard to find the nowadays. When sun pop up? you have to be faster than light. It only peeped so quickly.

Loving every shot you have today. Have a great week-end, Lady S.

The vases are rather monstrous this week! haha!

I like how you turned on the lamp in the foreground to add interest to the shadows. Interesting.

Sam and Mojo having another good day I see.

Enjoy your week, Sylvia!

Awww! I love that you include your four legged friends every week - where would we be without their companionship and love? I really like the pale sunlight in these shots - so nice!

One thing about our cloudy days, it makes us appreciate the sun when it is shining. Your grass may look a bit brown and the trees bare of leaves but for sure you'll have leaves and green grass pretty soon. I hear your weather has been quote mild this year.

I guess the the dogs don't need the shade now. They would rather be out soaking up the sun than under a shady tree.

Not much shade in the winter, but I guess the dogs would prefer lying in the sun anyway. Hope you and Mojo and Sam are finding a spot of sunshine today and enjoying yourselves.
Pretty colored shadows. I always like those.

Love the skinny bare tree shadow and your color shots especially. It's always fun to see Sam and Mojo hanging out together too. Thanks for dropping by Small Reflections earlier.

Love the shot of the dogs enjoying the cool shade of the tree. I have memories of our "Scotty" doing that. Can't leave our schnauzer unleashed though. I think he would make a mad dash after anything that came near :)

Washington State falls into one great big shadow for the winter. :) But it must be spring, because the shadows are back.

Those trees make such interesting shadows, and I always love the colored glass you throw in too! Have a fun weekend!

Also I held your blog on my bottombar so I could listen to the peaceful strains of Mahler. Thank you for that!

You are not alone with the lawn change. Last week it was so hot that lawns in Brisbane all looked a bit sad and brown, but with constant rain left over from a cyclone up north descending on us over the past few days, our lawns are now lush and green. Ah nature - you've got to roll with the punches!

I love the contrasting tree shadows and Sam's stark shadow at the beach is great! I love to read about their week in your pet pride posts too! The coloured ones are beautiful-I remembered all your coloured shots last night as I put my glass of wine on the shelf and saw a pretty reflection shining through onto the wall.
