Shadow Shot Sunday!
It's that time again, my shadow addicted friends!! What have your chased down for today?? Shadow Shot is hosted by Tracy over at Hey Harriet, click on the icon, sign up and share what kind of shadows you've found for today!
I've had lots of fun this week because we've had some more sun and I went out to play. And down at the bird sanctuary at the beach I discovered these guys! I love the watery reflections around this pond and the ducks are always fun to watch.
But I had work to do at home, cleaning out a closet. I had taken some clothes upstairs to take to Goodwill and lo and behold an old lace blouse of mine had captured the show!
And, of course, Mojo was there to help!
And my favorite colored bottles had all gotten shoved to the side to make room for my box to take to Goodwill, couldn't let them go uncaptured!

I love the reflection of the 'guys' in the water. And Mojo is always willing to cooperate. I'm sure you will get tons of comments on the colored bottles. Great shadow shots, Sylvia.
Two ducks on a log
contemplating teeming pond—
what sweet treats therein?
Stony Shadows
I love the two duck friends on their log! Your shirt makes a very pretty shadow too.
hi Sylvia - those shots are great - I especially like the ducks and the lace...
Wonderful shot of the ducks reflected in the pond.
QuAcK!
The lace blouse creates an intricate shadow. Nice.
Have a great week shadow seeking, Sylvia!
I love the ducks and their shadows, but I think Mojo looks so cute! :)
These quackers are relaxing on the log. They are at peace as the watch the current flow. I am sure that they will jump back in soon...
The delicate lace leaves an equally delicate shadow. Elegance is well defined here!
I love that second shot--such delicate tracery. And of course, the colored vase shadows are lovely as always...
Have a great weekend!
"Does this log make my butt look big"...too cute, I can see you were having a blast chasing shadows...have a great springy weekend!
Those ducks are to die for they are so cute!
Birds I always enjoy but the lace is a lovely and unusual shadow.
I'm with Catherine here - the ducks and the lace.
Beautiful shadow shots, I like the last one with colored shadows.
Have a nice weekend.
Oh, I just love, love, LOVE these cute little ducks! Your pictures are all just beautiful, once again, Sylvia. Thanks so much for sharing these!
Oh I like the birds! They are so in-the-middle-of-the-world :)
A lovely couple :)
Happy SSS
The shadows created by the lace blouse are excellent! Love the blue and green light through the bottles.
Wonderful shots. I love the ducks and Mojo looks nice and relaxed :)
Sylvia, that lace shadow is priceless!
Finally spring is almost everywhere!
Here too, in Casablanca, we love it here!
You're lucky to have loyal company, Mojo!
Happy SSS!
BLOGitsePHOTOS
The ducks are adorable..but have to admit..every picture is wonderful..
Happy SSS.
I always love seeing your shadows - you have such a variety. Mojo doesn't seem too interested!
Love the coloured glass shadows!
Have a great weekend!
Your lace blouse shadow looks like a shadow fantasy! Amazingly beautiful! And love your other shadows celebrating the arrival of Spring! (Of course, Mojo's shadow is a winner!)
Don't those duck tails cast a cute reflection?! That sexy lace blouse is lovely and the shadow devine. Great Shadow Shots.
Love those ducks hanging out together. And I love the shadows cast by that blouse!
The birds are really cute, the lace shadow is fascinating and it looks like Mojo is wearing the chair. They are all fun and beautiful images!
brilliant captures as always!
Lovely shadow shots, as always Sylvia. I really love the ducks' reflection in the river water. That's such a sweet shot!
Peace,
Gina
Oh, boy! That lace blouse is competing for my attention over the glass shots! Looks like you are having lovely spring weather there. Have a wonderful day!
LOVE the lacy shot! Sometimes things just appear. :)
Of course - lovely colored glass shadows!!
These are all so great Sylvia but that top one of the ducks is very special. They look so happy sitting there without a care in the world. And they probably don't have a care in the world. Lucky ducks! Have a great week!
Always Good Times When I Visit.
Wonderful photos Sylvia, the ducks are fantastic totally oblivious to who is behind them :-) Great shots!!!
Love all your photos, love the bottles, and of course the ducks, they look like they are trying to decide what to do with their day.
Fabulous shots... Both animals and lovely glass.
I love the shadow cast by the lace. I'd have thought curtains until you mentioned the blouse. Is that one you gave away to Goodwill?
Great shots one and all.
Peace.
I love how the ducks are sitting there
and that blouse is beautiful
All such wonderful captures, Sylvia. I love the ducks' bottoms' shadows - and the lace blouse is fantastic. It must have been a lovely bright day to catch such sharp shadows.
That is such a cute pic of the ducks. Beautiful captured!
Wishing you a good Sunday and week.
Hi Sylvia, a super collection of shadows - I love the lace pattern! And as always your coloured glass looks wonderful. Hope you have had a great weekend - today has been HOT here, lots of sunshine and blue sky. Love, Anne
Don't let go of the beautiful bottles, they are my favorite shadows but..the ducks look delightful also, Sylvia.
I love that lacy shadow, what a treat for you amidst your work sorting for donating you found a little beauty.
That pair of ducks is a show-stopper of a photograph -- what a great moment to capture!
Fantastic shadows shots as always, Sylvia. Love the first photo and the dog photos the best. Thanks for sharing always your beautiful shadows.
I am sorry for the late visit. I have been busy lately. Have a nice day always.
You brought me back to the days of my youth. Mum kept ducks, and I was her helper. The ducks often dove in the water just like yours.
We knew which was a make drake, he was handsome and had a little curl at the back.
What MARVELOUS shadow shots and I love the reflections in this lovely impressionistic scene. I can do almost all of the things on your 'inner peace' list, but I'm not ready to give up my morning coffee. Love the punchline and the photo at the end! Max and Mojo continue to be excellent 'subjects' and seem so contented on your deck. Your Simple Home Remedies had me in stitches and the 'stolen' Kodak moments are priceless ... seriously!
Hugs and blessings,
