Shadow Shot Sunday!

Get out the magnifying glass, get into your best sleuthing clothes and start prowling your environment looking for those wonderful, but sometimes elusive shadows. This fun and challenging meme is hosted each week by Tracy over at Hey Harriet! Click on the icon, sign up and show us how clever you are!
I do believe the Weather Man is severely emotionally challenged here in Seattle if the crazy weather we've had is any indication! But yesterday was gorgeous and sunny, today is iffy at best, but I can usually dig up something shadowy for the day!
And here it is!
The flower is from a bouquet my son had waiting for his lady friend who was visiting us from Portland over the weekend. She's lovely and delightful, by the way!

The rose is beautiful with delicate shadows inside each petal. The tablescape is full of colorful shadows, shadows that are not subdued bit brilliant, instead. You took your reading glasses off to enjoy the shadowy week, no doubt1

Do you suppose that Christmas cactus will burst into bloom this year? Thanks for your visit, Sylvia. It's always good to hear from you!

You use the sunny days to full advantage! I like the collage, there is a red, whit, and blue theme without a flag, and the shadows are an integral part of it!
Have a great day!

Your ShadowShots are always so awesome. What do you use to make your collages?? I use Picasa, but mine are always so tiny. I like yours alot better. Have a great weekend.

Thanks for stopping by, Cassie, and for your comment, always appreciated! I, too, use Picasa and that's where I create the collages. Recently blogspot has upgraded it's system -- or at least on my computer, where you can choose the size of your pictures/collages whatever, you can choose whether you use left, right or center and they have several other really great new features that are fun to experiment with.

Enjoy your weekend!

Your cactus looks so healthy. I'm a master to kill all the flowers...either give too much or too little water...
Have a great week ahead!
