Shadows at the lakeside,
Shadows of the trees,
Will you disappear soon
In an autumn breeze?

I like your collage, Sylvia. Last night I was going through my archive, tagging and deleting, when I got to spring it was a shock, I had forgotten how lovely it is. These shots have the power to cheer us though the dark months.
May you see some sunshine this week and have a cheerful holiday.

As always, your home is quite lovely, the patio as stunning as always in shadow. I love the view of the trees by the water, a warm look for a cool autumn. I spy the photo artist at work, too!

Beautiful collage, Sylvia. So many lovely shadows.
The musical accompaniment is lovely, too. I don't often have the sound turned on.

Not much sun and light here today, either, so it's lovely to see your bright photos and their sharp shadows. Have a good week ahead, Sylvia :-)

Icky here too, if you want a glimpse of the sun, you better think fast, not so much these days either and brutal cold and damp today...maybe warmer tomorrow...I can dream right!!! Have a great Sunday Sylvia!!!

Love the lines in the one with the blue glass on the diamond shaped tiles. The one looking down the stairs is interesting; the light seems to be coming from opposite directions at once.

Your weekend postings always make me happy! From Sky to Reflections to Shadows -- you do such a great job. I have to build up my library of pictures, because there's not much of any of those three here in Oregon in the Fall. You keep posting to all three memes so beautifully even though I know you don't have a lot to work with nowdays either -- Seattle being just as gray-- yet your posts never seem like reruns. I'm so impressed!

I think my very favorite is the row of trees with their beautiful shadows. That should be printed, framed and hung in your livingroom.

I love them all but I have to say I think the best are the trees by the lake. Beautiful shot.

Good to get a reminder that there will be another Summer. Been cloudy here lately, but that's okay too. Muted colors will let us appreciate the Summeertime when it comes around again.
Good stuff!

Peace.
