Sky Watch Friday!

Time to share your skies, the beauty over your world, the clouds, the colors! Sky Watch is hosted each week by Klaus and the Sky Watch team of Klaus, Sandy, Wren and me. Join us and the many people from all over the world who share theirs with us each week! Click on the post title to be taken to the SWF website where you can sign up. We had our usual amazing variety of skies this week -- as you can see! Wishing you all a wonderful weekend filled with beauty, laughter, joy and lots of love!

The Last Picture Show

If
all the world's
a stage,
and all the sky
the curtain,
then,
given what
goes on
in the name
of
religion,
power,
insults,
fatwas,
defense,
attack,
and so on,
is it any wonder,
that the moon
checks
again and again,
through
the stage curtain
before
making an effort
to appear
in the sky ?

"The human race has one really effective weapon, and that is laughter." So true!! If some people are taken too seriously it might get very difficult, whereas laughter puts almost any difficult situation into perspective.
Thanks for your visit, and for always visiting me!! I appreciate that very much. Have a great weekend!

And I thought Texas had the most Spectacular Skies. All of your sky photos are Spectacular...and YOU know how amazing Texas skies can be! What an eye you have for color and composition. Love the last sky shot with the clouds in one point perspective. Kinda of reminds me of Georgia O'Keefe's clouds...just flipped over with a view from beneath rather than from above. Thanks so much for visiting my blog...I'm very honored and encouraged with my photography with your kind comments. Have a great weekend....Sue

Absolutely gorgeous skies, Sylvia. It did my heart good to see them since my head feels so foggy right now. I can't wait to feel better again. It looks like you've got beautiful weather over there. The islands are waiting for a rare thunderstorm right now. We've been waiting all day. It's now 8:35 at night and still nothing. The weather forecaster says everybody is tweeting him asking where the rain is.

Your photos are ravishing. On this gray and rainy day it's so wonderful to see clear, soft skies with apricot colors.

You know, the music selection you've chosen to air really does slow down the page load. I personally don't much like that particular selection, so I always have to scroll down to turn it off, every single page I visit. You might ask your readers if they like music or not. Just a suggestion.

Sylvia K said...

Thanks for your visit and comment, Sara. Always appreciated. I hear from people frequently about the music, but it has all been positive and several have told me they sometimes come just to listen to the music. Yours is the first complaint that I've had. Hope you have a great weekend! Enjoy!
