Shadow Shot Sunday!

Get out the magnifying glass, get into your best sleuthing clothes and start prowling your environment looking for those wonderful, but sometimes elusive shadows. This fun and challenging meme is hosted each week by Tracy over at Hey Harriet! Click on the link under the blog title and sign up to play!!

As many of you know, I've been pretty much house bound due to sun poison, but it is much improved. Even so I haven't gotten out a lot as I do want it to heal and go away!! A real pain in the whatever!!  So, I dug up some older shadow shots, hope you enjoy them!  For those of you in the States -- have a wonderful Labor Day Weekend and may all of you enjoy a beautiful one!

Like a welcome summer rain, humor may suddenly cleanse and cool the earth, the air and you.

Sun poisoning? Ugh!! That pretty much goes with the severe case of bursitis in my shoulder! Put me out of commission for a spell here. I hope you've recovered enough to enjoy this long weekend. Don't forget your hat!!!

Do get well! We often think of Seattle and rain. But of course, you have provided lots of sunny exposure pictures this summer, so perhaps it was sunnier in clime up there. Nevertheless, your archives show lots of shadows, my favorite the wet doggie. Your archives are lovely, too...

Your masthead this week is too cute. What a clever friend you have in Mubai.

The lacy ShadowShot is my fave today. Though the one of your son with his pooch is cool too. Ahh heck, they are all good! Happy Labor Day and SSS Sylvia!!

Delightful collage Sylvia.

I finally looked it up on the web. I had never heard of it before. Here we cover up automatically (long non-transparent) sleeves and hat. I do wish you a speedy recovery.

Love the lacy curtain pattern as my favorite but the crisp clear shadow of doggie and man is very nice too!

Take good care and you have a wonderful holiday weekend as well!

Sylvia girl I have never heard of "sun poison" now I have to look that up on the net ! I hope you are feeling better : )
We Canadians also have Labor Day long weekend .. I am bumping into a lot of people who think it is only the States that do that .. seems funny that yet again Canada is out in the "cold" ? LOL
I keep loving your friend's art work on the header picture and my favourite shadow is the bottom right hand corner .. beautiful!

I may be 72, but I can remember vividly the time I got sun poisoning as a teenager in south Florida. It was the worst. I was sosososo sick. Hope you feel better soon. I have been down and out for 2 weeks with torn cartilage in my right knee. The laptop put too much pressure on the knee and sitting at the computer table was painful, too. Consequently I have been out of commission for what seems like ages. Glad you were able to hit your saved photos from days past because they have created a grand mosaic. Love the shot with the dog. Take care and fell better soon. genie

I'm so sorry about the sun poisoning -- that is a real bummer. You do have the best photo archives of anyone in the world -- your old photos are wonderful to look at and thank you for sharing.

Get well soon!
