I adored that first macro-flower. A beauty. And I have even seen the little mermaid, albeit from a distance. Thank you for sharing!§

Hi Sylvia,

That is a beautiful pic of a magnolia (the white color reminds me of a lily). I also like the pic of the moon....it looks so solitary and yet it has a regal quality.

Lille Havfruen in Copenhagen is such a wonderful statue. You've got very good M words! Thanks for sharing and for your visit!

Bagman says, "M is for mammories." But Butler deleted the blog so don't look for it. Butler and I like the magnolias alot.

At least your mermaid isn't mooning at us. Delightful magnolia.

Lovely shots of M things - we have a mermaid statue jut off Vancouver's Stanley Park that is similar to the one you have shown. I also did magnolias today. :D

I just love the Moon - so serene and powerful.

M is also for Mood and your Moon shot is one that sets the stage for a Misty Mood.

Magnificent photos! I'm particularly fond of magnolias and can well remember the excitement I felt when I saw the mermaid a long time ago. Great post!

Magnolia trees are one of the most beautiful sights of spring! Where was the photo of the mermaid taken?

Rose said...

Oh, I just read Reader Wil's comment--I wondered if this was the famous statue in Copenhagen.

Thanks for a beautiful trio of ems, Sylvia. Your magnolia image is exquisite! I'm wondering where your mermaid is from since it doesn't look like the one I remember in Copenhagen.

The magnolia blossom is beautiful, Sylvia! It surprises me that the trees bloom in Seattle so far ahead of central Ontario.

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
