That field of lavender... OMG!!! I used to live in Switzerl and the beauty of it really is amazing. But I think I like the last one best...now we know where baby rainbows come from! LOL
I love your title btw, and will very likely use it the next time I'm eating chocolate cake or feeling equally 'heavenly'. Thanks for a happy Friday Sylvia!
I just got an e-mail from my friends in Switzerland and they said the flowers were blooming, but the snow was still in the mountains; just like that lovely photograph. I was there in May one year and those yellow flowers were all over every meadow in Europe. We went up to see the deep snow in the Alps. Someday I may post those pictures.
I too have friends spending a year in Switzerland. I am dazzled by their photos! Lavender is lovely in big and small doses...it is my favorite scent! I look forward each year to the Lavender festivals here in the northwest..
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.

Lovely pics indeed. For a moment I thought you had your seven league boots on.
The lavender farm is almost impossibly purple!
