Sky Watch Friday!

Sky Watch is hosted each Friday by Klaus, Sandy, Ivar, Wren, Fishing Guy and Louise. It's a fun way to share your lovely skies with people all over the world! Click here to sign up and join the fun!

Here in Seattle we've had a little of everything from clear, summer blue to the lovely colors of the sunsets. In this first shot -- do click on it to embiggen, I caught a plane climbing steeply in the late afternoon sky. It looks almost completely vertical.

All very beautiful pictures. The jet looks like it's going up like a rocket.

I was kinda expecting a little thought or something under the photos. Something I could disagree with!:-) Hah.

I love the soaring plane, caught in its upward climb. And how all the sky shot patterns seem to fan out towards the viewer.

I agree, the jet looks like a rocket. Gray skyes here so yours look especially nice.

Was the pilot trying to get above the clouds? :) Great capture.
Have a wonderful upcoming weekend.

My post is here: Carletta’s Captures.

Lovely shots, Sylvia. I don't remember that many blue skies when we lived in Washington...

Thank you for sharing and for visiting my site, too.

They are all beautiful, but my favorites are the second and the fourth. Looks like you had a much better weather week than we did here in Maine.

Beautiful cloud harvest again, Sylvia! :-)

Some of the trees could almost have been caught from my windows. I don't have that fabulous view of yours, though.

Thank you for your kind comment,
I am also always looking forward to your skies!

May the coming week bring you beautiful skies and happy days!

Hey Sylvia, you brought a smile to my face -- "embiggen", isn't that a Homer Simpson-ism? hehe
