It's been a very busy week with my kids here for the birthday celebration, visiting with friends and doing some sightseeing! Lots of fun! And today we're off to Whidbey Island to do some more. But I'll be back to check your sites on Sunday! These are just a few of those lovely shadows I found this week!

Lovely shots, all of them, but I like the beach and the tree (Silver Birch?) best. Enjoy your trip!

Sounds as though you've had a wonderful trip and at least you have some beautiful shots to keep as memories.

Perfect shadows all over... specially the beach. Sand, sun & blue lagoon? What can I ask for more?

Wonderful!

Wonderful shadows you've discovered and shared. Is that a Chocolate Lab cooling off in the shade of that tree? Glad you've been enjoying your family visit ;--)

Thanks for the tour, the last shot looks like it might be warm there according to the dog's tongue...cool shots!

Nothing like a BIG shadow to lie in on a hot day!

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
