Our World Tuesday!!

Needless to say, I'm very pleased and excited about continuing with our new version -- Our World! Thank you, Gattina, for your help -- not only with the header, but helping me get the web address on my blog -- no idea what the problem was other than just me and old age!!
I do so look forward to visiting your blogs and continuing to view your worlds as well!! I looked all around my world .... from the final touches i.e. new curtains in the living room of my new apartment, to the beach, to the flowers and the incredible view from my desk!! And what a wonderful world it is! Hope those of you on the East coast managed to escape the wrath of Irene and that all of you are ready for a great, new week!

Great photos Sylvia, as usual. :-) I really like the window shot though, letting us truly visit your world and see what you see.

I only learned this morning that Klaus passes. What sad news indeed. MyWorld was always one of my most favorite meme and I'll do my best to keep up with OurWorld. I think it is a great project. Looking forward to the launch! If I can help, let me know....

Your world is definitely beautiful. I like the view from your window and the picture of the harbor. Your new curtains look great.

I love your world, Sylvia. Come and see my childhood home in Manoa Valley, my blog topic today.

Ah - lovely photos. I'm so glad Our World is continuing where My World left off.

May I make one teeny tiny suggestion? Not sure if it's just me - but I can't see an actual link to Our World Tuesday. If you click the photo, it just takes you to a page with the photo on it but not to the actual Our World web site... Might be good to help people find the new 'home' of Our World?

Wonderful cheerful images. :)

Thanks for hosting this once more.

Beautiful views from these windows on the last picture. I am very curious about that gray thing on the table, jump rope?
Happy week to you Sylvia:-)

I'd like to be sailing on the boat in the first picture. All of these shots are beautiful. Flowers, sailboats, interesting clouds, all are some of my favorite things. I also always enjoy your quotes.

Spiderdama -- Don't I wish it was a jump rope!!! Try cane and was I ticked off to find I had left it in sight when I took the pic!! Ah, well, when you're old, you're old!!!

Gattina, I didn't forget, haven't been able to put one that works, not sure what the problem is, I'm still trying. I did leave a note at the top of my blog to that effect. Sorry for all the beginning problems!!!

Looking outside through the window of your cozy apartment must give you inspiration daily, Sylvia. How wonderful that you are helping to carry on Klaus’ My World vision with Our world. The new icon is lovely and definitely eye-catching. :)

Beautiful photos and great quotes as always, Sylvia. I'm so glad you're helping to host Our World Tuesday, and although I don't have a post for it this week, I will be a very regular participant.

As always, your pictures are stunning and so are the quotes! I am in awe of the way you find them and never seem to reuse them.

Thank you so much again for continuing 'Our World." (I couldn't leave a comment on the blogsite itself, because it is set up the way yours used to be.) Just wanted to be sure you and the other wonderful ladies know you are appreciated. (I left a comment on their sites too.)

Beautiful images. My grandfather was a big fan of Will Rogers and would take me to the museum every time I visited. Thanks for the memories!

It is a real race between Will Rogers and Mark Twain to see who is the best and wisest wordsmith. Can we call it a draw? (Get better, Sylvia.)

Sylvia, your garden ad living room look delightful. Those oriental poppies are a delicious colour, I only have pink ones.

I am sorry to hear you are under the weather and hope you recover very quickly.

I too had great trouble lifting the logo from anywhere. After many tries, I finally managed to lift it from your blog but still could not get one for my side bar. I know I am a bit backward when it comes to computers.

Get well and stay well my dear.

Wonderful idea to continue Klaus's meme under a different name! I clicked on the logo but nothing happened. Maybe it's because I am working on my iPad now. Anyway your photos are so beautiful, thanks for sharing!

Looking forward to all the posts.

Lovely photo's I love those Poppies and the sky shot from your window. Will Rogers sounds like a man who had made a lot of common-sense statements, before the words common-sense were removed from the dictionary.

My thanks, also, to you and the rest of the crew for keeping alive a meme where we could all share views of this wonderful world.

Your world is very cozy, Sylvia, and you enjoy enviable views that no doubt will inspire many wonderful sky photos! Good job on getting this inaugural Our World going... never mind the little teething problems. Just enjoy. :-) [Hope the doctor's visit was just routine, nothing serious.]
