Today's pictures are a little different from my usual shadow shots, but we had a day of sun!! And several times a week here at my new home, there is a van that takes groups of us to various places around Seattle. Sometimes it's just to a favorite store to do some shopping, sometimes to something scenic, but always something different. Yesterday we went to Bellevue, WA which is about a thirty minute drive from the complex. It was warm, it was sunny and while most of the group headed for the shopping center, I headed across the street to a lovely park and here are some of the shadow shots I found there in this very lovely place! Hope you enjoy them!

A Crocodile Tale!

Two Crocodiles were sitting at the side of the swamp near the Capitol in DC.  The smaller one turned to the other and said,  'I can't understand how you can be so much bigger than me. We we're the same age,  and we were the same size as kids. I just don't get it.' 'Well,' said the big Croc, 'what have you been eating?' 'Politicians, same as you,' replied the small Croc.  'Hmm.  Well, where do you catch them?'  'Down the other side of the swamp near the parking lot.  'Same here. Hmm. Well how do you catch them?'  'Well, I crawl up under one of their Lexus cars and wait for one to step out.  Then I jump up, grab them by the leg, shake the shit out of them and eat 'em!' 'Ah!' says the big Crocodile, 'there's your problem.      You're not getting any real nourishment. See, by the      time you finish shaking the shit out of a Politician, there's nothing left but an asshole and a briefcase. _______________________________________ Hmmmm sound familiar????

Sam and I have gotten pretty well settled in and as soon as we did, the rain and gray returned!! But I got a few shots -- my messy desk in the office, colored glass and lace in my bedroom, beautiful tulips on roof and Sam the day before we moved. Then yesterday I was sitting at my desk and glanced at the roof of the apartment building across the street and there was seagull sitting there and looking as though he was checking me out and I managed to get a shot -- through the window!!

A woman was flying from Seattle

to San Francisco. Unexpectedly,

the plane was diverted to

Sacramento along the way.

 

The flight attendant explained

that there would be a delay,

and if the passengers wanted

to get off of the aircraft the

plane would re-board in

50 minutes.

 

Everybody got off the plane

except one lady who was blind

 

A man had noticed her as he walked by

and could tell the lady was blind

because her seeing-eye dog lay quietly

underneath the seats in front of her

throughout the entire flight

 

He could also tell she had flown

this very flight before because

the pilot approached her, and

calling her by name, said,

"Kathy, we are in Sacramento

for almost an hour

Would you like to get off

and stretch your legs?"

 

The blind lady said, "No thanks,

but maybe Buddy would like

to stretch his legs."

 

Picture this:

 

All the people in the gate area

came to a complete standstill

when they looked up and saw

the pilot walk off the plane

with a seeing-eye dog! The pilot

was even wearing sunglasses

 

People scattered. They not

only tried to change planes,

but they were trying to

change airlines! True story.....

So grab a Pail of Paint and start Planning and Painting a P Pageant before we head for Paris to Play in the Park, watch the Partridges Patter around while we enjoy some delightful French Pancakes! In case you didn't notice, I am Pooped having just moved to my Perfect new apartment! And here are my Ps for the Day!!  A Purple pot, Pumpkins, Pig, Puffy Pink clouds, Perfect view, Posies, Pretty Puppies!  All mine, so suck it up, Lord Google!
