Prayers for Mumbai

Terrorists are holding hostages in Mumbai, 80 people are known dead and at least 250 have been injured, including children. Please, let us all hold good thoughts and prayers for the people of Mumbai.

...and so it goes. The more things change the more they stay the same.

I saw it on the news, frightening.

Right now it's a scary world "out there". The day may come it could be a scary world right here. The terrorist faction is so devoid of conscience and reason.

I add my prayers for the people of Mumbai and for people who live in fear where ever they may be.

Thank you for keeping the voiceless in your thoughts and prayers on this Thanksgiving, Sylvia.

Peace and love to you and yours.

Hi Sylvia
I see we met earlier (with Judy too) on Suranga's blog. How awful Mumbai sounds ...
But may you leave the horror aside for a happy Thanksgiving for you and your family. Have a slice of turkey for me.

Sylvia (again)
Did you see Suranga's comment that Lilly is in Thailand? Bankgkok is in trouble too. Hopefully she's safe ...

I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
