It's been a frustrating, expensive day getting my computer repaired, but I'm back online so beware!
I found this beautiful winter poem and thought it might be a comfort to you. It was to me, and it's very well written.
I felt it really captured my own feelings about winter.

A very Happy New Years to you, Sylvia. I'm sorry to say I'm sitting here in a sleeveless nightie with short pants waiting for the new year. I'll be feeling the cold soon enough when we go to Illinois for our visit.
Where is the poem? I could do with something cold. It was 35 degrees here today.
Hi Sylvia, That was just what I needed atm. A Guid Laugh!
Cheers Pal - Kate x.

I laughed out loud at the 'poem' and scared the dog---wow, Sylvia, I did miss you and am SO glad you're posting again. Sorry to hear about your computer woes but here's to a happy healthy 2009 for your computer and yourself and family: HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Everyone have a Happy New Year!!
You started my 2009 with a good laugh! Thank you for that!
And then you frustrated me because your word verification had no word for me to verify. But that wasn't your fault, was it.
A wonderful poem! Happy New Year to you, and thank you for being a part of our blogging community.
LOL!! Yes, that "minimalist poetry" sure can capture the essence of things... Hope you catch a break out there and go up a few degrees!!
love it!!!
Happy New Year!!
Wonderful poem! Actually I'd been trying to decide how to use that graphic myself, but methinks you've hit the nail on the head with this one. Thanks for the laughter. Hope your computer issues will soon be resolved if they're not already.
Hugs and blessings,
He he, you make me laugh Sylvia! Oh thats is bad luck about your computer - did they tell you what you will need to do to stop it recurring? Glad you are back online though!
