I'm Back -- With a Lovely Poem

It's been a frustrating, expensive day getting my computer repaired, but I'm back online so beware!

I found this beautiful winter poem and thought it might be a comfort to you. It was to me, and it's very well written.

I felt it really captured my own feelings about winter.

A very Happy New Years to you, Sylvia. I'm sorry to say I'm sitting here in a sleeveless nightie with short pants waiting for the new year. I'll be feeling the cold soon enough when we go to Illinois for our visit.

You started my 2009 with a good laugh! Thank you for that!

And then you frustrated me because your word verification had no word for me to verify. But that wasn't your fault, was it.

LOL!! Yes, that "minimalist poetry" sure can capture the essence of things... Hope you catch a break out there and go up a few degrees!!

Wonderful poem! Actually I'd been trying to decide how to use that graphic myself, but methinks you've hit the nail on the head with this one. Thanks for the laughter. Hope your computer issues will soon be resolved if they're not already.
Hugs and blessings,

I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
