Shadow Shot Sunday!
It's Saturday and time to play with the shadows! Check out Hey Harriet here and join us for the fun!
We've had lots of sun the past few days and have I had fun! And the LILACS are finally showing some color -- as well as shadows!
The back of this chair in the kitchen just got taller and taller.
My mug of tea while I enjoyed the sun on our front porch!
And me -- caught in the strawberry patch! Too early for the berries, but I'm keeping an eye on them!

I always love your shadows...I never really noticed my own but I do now! You teach me everyday, thank you Sylvia!
THose shots are wonderful. Isn't it funny chasing shadows?
Have a nice Shadow Shot Sunday!
We're partial to those lilacs...they look like they smell heavenly!
I would love to have a lilac bush like yours! The tea looks very refreshing.
All great shots, but your lilac shadows have to be the winner! So pretty!
Hi Sylvia, Thanks so much for your kind comments about my niece. I love lilacs. They are my favorite flower. Your shadows are great.
is it sunday already? love your shadow photos. I even took one the other day will have to post it soon.
How I wish we could grow lilacs in our climate - they look so beautiful in your shot. Have a great weekend. We have a long weekend, so we can all sleep in on Monday!
Love the back of the chair shadow!
Sharp shadows everywhere you turned, Sylvia! Marvelous! Happy SSS! Have a great weekend! :)
Hi Sylvia, more great shadows this week - how beautiful is that lilac!! Happy SSS x
I like the back of the chair shot; what a unique idea for a post :)
Wonderful stuff!
Thank you for these words and pictures.
Made my night a better place!

Great collection of shadows. I especially like the one of the tea. Such a great mix of colors on your porch.
You always find such lovely shadows to share! The tall chair shadow is great. Strawberries? Yum! Hope they ripen for you soon. Btw, you have the greenest lawn I've ever seen! Wish mine looked that pretty. My weeds are nice and green... Enjoy the rest of your weekend Sylvia :)
I love all of these! The strawberry patch photo is my favourite because of the anticipation involved! There is lots of lilac bloooming at the moment, Wisteria too-a very purple time of year!
wonderful bunch of photos! and i loved your strawberry patch. hope you have a "fruitful" harvest :)
Nice SSS. It makes me think of a neighbor stopping by for mid morning coffee. The chair is empty but that's the thought it spurred in my head.
I no longer have a garden so particularly enjoy your pictures of the things I would have in it, like the lilac and the strawberry patch. Thank you!
I love that first shot! and the chair shadow is so unique
Those Lilacs are beautiful. I noticed them flowering here too. Wonderful!
Mmm and that strawberry patch will not be long before it will be very delightful. Guess you'll have to cover it with a net or something for other scoundrels. LOL
A couple of striking shadows in there this week, Sylvia. Well done!
lovely cup of tea :)
Wonderful shadow shots! Thanks for stopping by to see mine :-)
The lilacs are so pretty. I can almost smell them. Lovely shadows!!
Love your shadow shots, especially the ones with the flowers.

I especially like the lilac bush. I always loved lilacs and thought I'd plant some once I had a house and yard ---but I sort of forgot how much I loved them & our yard was already filled with shrubs & trees. In college, a boyfriend went all over town with clippers and stole an armload of lilacs for me. He decided to take only one stem from each bush so as not to ruin any one. It was still stealing, but it was a rather romantic gesture.
Four good ones for the theme, Sylvia! Guess I have a thing though for shadows cast by sunlight through glass vessels like your tea mug. :)
Have a great week!
nice selection of shadow shots here...
