Evening, Wisdom and Beauty

We come nearest to the great when we are great in humility.
Rabindranath Tagore

God seeks comrades and claims love, the Devil seeks slaves and claims obedience.
Rabindranath Tagore

Depth of friendship does not depend on length of acquaintance.
Rabindranath Tagore

God waits to win back his own flowers as gifts from man's hands.

Your photographs are so beautiful – were they taken with the same camera? And are the scenes close to your home? They are really delightful.

Vagabonde, thank you for your comments. The first two are my shots
taken with my old camera, the last one was taken by a friend of their garden and sent to me. The one of Snoqualami Falls is one from an online album, but I have numerous ones that I have taken there as well.

So true, there are people from the 80´s and I might have a relationship with them that could only be described as skin deep if even that. Some people just stay on that level.

Just love the first one, the cloud formation and shades within.

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
