I love the one that references both opponents going into the same chess box! Interesting.

Lovely soothing photos. I really like the Gibran quote. And just the other day I saw the Thurber quote and scribbled it down on a scrap of paper.

Have a beautiful weekend Sylvia.

You always give me something to take with me as I go about my day.

Loved the pawn and the king going back to the same box. That one will stick with me a long while!

So good to be back among the bloggers. Boy, do I love you Warren quote and the photo. We stayed on the water in Sequim and on the way went through the "Lavender Capital." The way lavender grows out there is amazing. We had the best time. Gorgeous weather and lots of fun with the grandsons. genie

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
