What a Week!

Last week was such a delightful one that I have to share some of the fun! As many of you know, it was my birthday week and my son, David, came up from Dallas, Texas and my daughter, Kerith, came from Santa Rosa, California. It was the first time that I had been with Adam, David and Kerith at the same time in nearly 15 years and it was wonderful! There was lots of laughter and joking, sharing meals, and some fun trips around the area. So, as a way of enjoying the week all over again, I thought that I’d share some of the photos.

Adam and David at Carkeek Park

The next day after Kerith arrived, we took off for Snoqualmi Falls!

Kerith and I

My 3 Musketeers, on the ferry to Whidbey Island!

As you can see, it was a fun week!

I'm so happy that you all had such a great time. When I spend time with our kids I like to remind them that were making memories. What a good-looking group you all make, and you are so cute Sylvia, you sure don't look your age. I guess the happy and healthy ensure that!

Belated Happy Birthday!

Despite the grey skies, the places you visited in your My World post looked gorgeous. Some parts look quite like Scotland.

Is Mojo a Chesapeake Bay Retriever? She's a gorgeous colour.

I love love LOVE those last two photos especially! What a wonderful birthday to have to them all together. Happy Birthday Sylvia (I am so late with this...) and I hope it's a great year ahead.

We had a busy-crazy week too. Maybe that's how summers are meant to be?

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
